Your Food Oasis (YFO) exists to help end food insecurity and food waste. In 2010, Brother Thomas had a vision of a world where people had enough to eat, and food wasn’t being thrown in the trash. He began visiting stores to glean their surplus and near-expired items to distribute in local neighborhoods.

As the need grew, and more people wanted to help, Your Food Oasis grew as well. After a few temporary “homes,” YFO was blessed to receive access to a long-term space at Crosspoint Adventist Church in 2022. Thanks to this generous offer, our team of volunteers has a stable location to receive, organize, and distribute food to those in need in our community.

We now gather donations six days a week and distribute food three days a week, working hard to end hunger.
